Navigating the workspace
The RedFlare workspace keeps everything one click away through a single left sidebar. This page is a quick tour of the layout so you always know where to find what you need.
What you can do
- Move between every area of RedFlare from one Explore, Build, and Connect sidebar.
- See your live work in Explore — conversations, agents, and dashboards.
- Create new things in Build — workflows, AI agents, knowledge, tools, and alerts.
- Wire RedFlare to the outside world in Connect — phone numbers, integrations, and webhooks.
- Start a new item straight from the sidebar using the quick-action button next to most items.
- Pin the sidebar open, or let it tuck away to give your work more room.
The three sidebar groups
The sidebar is split into three groups. Each one gathers a set of related areas, and selecting any item opens that area in the main panel beside the sidebar.
Explore
This is where you watch and review what is already happening.
- Conversations — Manage user interactions and track messages to ensure seamless communication across all agents.
- Agents — View and manage your complete list of active agents and their statuses.
- Dashboards — Browse pre-built dashboards that bring together the metrics, leaderboards, and trends that matter for each area.
Build
This is where you create and configure the things that do the work.
- Workflows — Design automated workflows by defining triggers and logic to handle tasks seamlessly.
- AI Agents — Configure and tune intelligent agents to handle tasks and automate workflows.
- Knowledge — Organize agent knowledge to ensure accurate information and consistent performance.
- Tools — Equip agents with real-time tools to process data and complete complex tasks instantly.
- Alerts — Get notified about the agent activity that matters to you.
Connect
This is where you link RedFlare to your phone lines and other systems.
- Phone numbers — Manage phone numbers for voice interactions and connect users directly to your agents.
- Integrations — Connect agents to external services to sync data and automate workflows across platforms.
- Webhooks — Trigger external APIs in real time to exchange data between your system and third-party services.
Your sidebar may show fewer items than the full list above. Some areas only appear when they are switched on for your workspace, so what you see reflects what your team has access to.
Switch between areas
- Look at the left sidebar.
- Find the group you need — Explore, Build, or Connect.
- Select an item, such as Conversations or Workflows.
- The area opens in the main panel next to the sidebar, and the item stays highlighted so you always know where you are.
Create something new from the sidebar
Many sidebar items have a small quick-action button that lets you jump straight into creating, without opening the area first.
- Hover over the item in the sidebar.
- Select its quick-action button. The tooltip tells you exactly what it does, for example:
- Upload Calls next to Conversations
- New Workflow next to Workflows
- New Agent next to AI Agents
- New Collection next to Knowledge
- New Tool next to Tools
- New Alert next to Alerts
- Import number next to Phone numbers
- New Integration next to Integrations
- New Webhook next to Webhooks
- Finish the new item in the panel that opens.
The quick-action button is the fastest path to a new item. Use New Workflow or New Alert straight from the sidebar instead of opening the area first and hunting for a create button.
Tidy up your sidebar
You can control how much space the sidebar takes.
- To keep it open, choose Pin sidebar.
- To let it collapse out of the way, choose Unpin sidebar.
- Use Open sidebar and Close sidebar to show or hide it as you work.
Get help and account options
The sidebar also holds the essentials that sit outside the three groups.
- Help opens support when you are stuck.
- User menu is where your account and personal options live.
Tips
Think of the groups as a flow: Explore to see what is happening, Build to create and tune it, and Connect to plug it into your phone numbers and other tools.
If an area you expect is missing from the sidebar, it is likely not enabled for your workspace yet. Check with your workspace admin to have it turned on.
